Yes, and Ella even told me that she realized when the communication with Gully was well established, that when he was ’stemming’ by leafing through books fairly rapidly he was actually reading the words or at least gathering the information as he later was able to retell.
I saw some of Gully’s poems and writing at the time but not all of it and would like to be able to get the manuscript.
