[Thespiritexpress] Where Am I Going Again?

This is the poem I read before Pathwork Class this past Tuesday. I'm a
little tardy getting it posted, but I don't feel tardy...

*Where Am I Going Again?*

Here I go –

into a permanent state of pure love –

the erotic gnostic, fading into

the foreground of some

backwater embellishment

where it once dwelt within me in a

swampland of symbiotic impotency

with its hickified contempt for everything

it never knew about anything.

How’d I get here?

Diving into the copperhead troughs

between spastic paths of narrow demise

where whippoorwill calls echo off

pine tree walls that are less dense

than my own columns of intensity,

where I inexplicably give way to the

chainsaw-hammer-bite poundings

of my less-conventional wooded ways.

Here I go –

sliding across a fresh maple floor

with my true love in life’s laugh dance –

making waves in maneuverability’s pool;

a swim of its own survival, revival,

tranquility and fate, hastily stroking

through a waist-high place where

eros spins into love’s own space,

racing traces of sexual momentum.

Easy…settle…open…

Where am I going again? Oh, yes,

that permanent state of pure love

behind a purple curtain of my

disintegrating ego, trailing itself

through the slow-going, all-knowing

transformative serene being of

self-reckoning – a fresh path to you,

lying in a cool shade of ecstatic poise.
