She went from being elated and feeling loved to having a complete emotional meltdown. Dad tipped back the wheelchair  accidentally jarring her neck, and she became an emotional wreck.

>         This next phase of the journey is about speech therapy and more extensive physical therapy. She’s able to talk, but has to relearn inflection, and other things that we take for granted.  Along with that, she’s learning how to go from seated to standing, walking not to mention maneuvering around a house via wheelchair in the mean time. They essentially moved her bed to their downstairs so that she could access the bathroom and be on one level. (Photo below) It has been really wonderful for her as she’s having friends visit and settling into being at home again.  A key component in this next part of her journey.
