> the word of Love suddenly plain

> in the fire
> and in everything around me.

> Each creation I behold
> spells a divine word,
> words are strung into sentences
> sentences into scripts
> proclaiming the joy of being,
> the joy of knowing
> that to be is
> sacred
> to live is
> holy.

> I behold
> that indigenous fire ignited
> over and over
> illuminating the faces of
> mother and father
> sister and brother
> with love
> and the immense energies
> of the universe
> whisper of a future
> that heals the past.

> The fire slowly burns down
