> A small voice keeps whispering in my ear:
> ‘every word is a judgment
> every thought a separation,
> every comparison,
> definition,
> description,
> all obstructions to the flow of change,
> to the constant transformation that is life on earth. . .
> and to the unchanging essence you truly are.’

> I inquire:
> Since every word I uttered as I first learned to speak,
> every sight I described as I first learned to write,
> every image I put forward in color or music,
> all the things I ever made with a goal in mind
> are so many obstacles to my awakening
> how do I speak then,
> how do I express myself,
> how do I write?’

> Because the praise I got for my achievements,
> my pride at being recognized as talented
> special,
> were death blows to my true Self
> and all my efforts to accomplish
> conspired
> to conceal my accomplished being,
> how do I live my life on earth then,
> how do I do my work,
> be useful,
> giving,
> how do I survive?
>  
> ‘Poet, you did not come to earth to survive,
> but to love,
> do not consult your mind on this,
> let your formless self
> in-form your self of form,
> string words together as they are given,
> pull them out from your heart,
> let them create a movement of energy,
> a wave of awakening that can be received
> as it is given to you
> by everyone who is listening
> let them put words in your mouth,
> offer those freely,
> anonymously,
> and let the life current clear the way
> for the transformation
> to begin.

> Follow that inner sound,
>    									just listen,
>                                                                         just hear,
> just write!’
