Yes, inspiring beautiful prose, and yes, truly inspirational.

And it can be inspirational without hiding the identity of the true author.

While I’m not Hopi, I have lived on their land and have Hopi friends. Every decade or so something like this spreads around and is supposed to be from some Hopi “chief.” Maybe so people pay more attention to it? I don’t know. But I am close to 100% certain as I can be that there is no Hopi Chief White Eagle.

The photo of one of the “chiefs” in this article looks like it might be Thomas Banyacya, who was a Hopi elder who shared wisdom. And the ones with Plains Indian headdresses with the long flowing strings of eagle feathers are clearly not Hopi.
