Hello, dear people!
Friends and I took off to see this exhibit. The hour and a quarter trip was incredibly beautiful every blessed moment with the wide blue ocean, sea stacks, bright green grass stretching into the hills and valleys, and all those daffodils along the road!! We started to feel like we were celebrating Spring allright and so thankful to be in heaven!
When we turned into the grounds of the Gualala Art Center and parked the car, none of us were prepared for the powerful effect of Micah's paintings. Wow! It seems like the venue was made to show these very paintings. Incredible, awe inspiring, deep, grand, soft and very powerful, perfection, other worldly spacious, yet human and recognizable, touching. As you will get the drift, I urge you to go and see for yourself. The grounds themselves contain sculptures and other art forms and provide inviting trails--nice for your dog to come along after waiting patiently in the car.
I brought a sandwich, desert and a drink. There is no food available at the Art Center, but Gualala town has several choices. We went to a place called Trinx, had tea and pastries, before driving back in time for the setting sun over the ocean.
Hope you also get a chance to experience Micah's extra-ordinary gift to all. Thanks for reading and warm regards. With love,
Lydia
