Hello friends!

I'm a bit tardy posting this from last Tuesday's Mastery class, but here's
the poem I read.

Peace, love and harmony...

*On the Subject of Love…*



Somewhere in waking space –

Somewhere between Blue Tara and Green Hercules –

Grace drips over soul-longing edges –

          those soft and gentle shoulders

          stronger than any god;



that swirl in a circle’s eye –

that beam of essential radiance,

that love ray on target among all targets;

that surge of energy in love’s formlessness,

that source of urgency focused on oneness.



Where has forgiveness gone?

Do you think it is waiting to come back

to open arms full of love and acceptance?

How have *these* arms become so numb?



If this is a road that calls us to travel,

will each step be as stable as the last?

When will love’s open toe resist the sandal?

It won’t, for it remains ever open.

There is no sandal, save the sole of the foot.



If this is love’s subject,

It rejects no part of the story.

It respects every scratch on every surface,

          every part of the whole;

it reflects source on every shore;

it lives without regret.



Somewhere on a terrace –

Somewhere, between a holy stone and a run-down ritual –

awareness resumes its own worship of everything –

the divine within, the divine without;

the subject of love is absorbed.
