[Thespiritexpress] the pelicans still here, even more

I was at the Mendocino headlands Friday evening, 5:30, and the big 
islands were half occupied by pelicans.  For the next 90 minutes I 
watched more flocks land and when I left at 7pm they were still coming 
in.  It was a foggy night and so ethereal how they would appear off in 
the distance flying out of the clouds.  In our lifetime, in our home 
town! Carlie
