Here is the latest from our local group the “Covid Response Network” w/Info. for boosters ~~~ I know that a lot of us are vaccinated and some are not ~ I personally feel it is good to keep a balanced perspective and do our best to support each others well considered choices~.

> It's fall again, our second fall living with the Covid 19 pandemic. We've learned a lot since this time last year, and we are aided in our struggle by the various vaccines. As we look forward into October, many among us will be getting booster shots, and thinking about what best steps to take to navigate the winter.

> The Covid Response Network is excited to welcome a guest speaker for our beginning of October meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday October 6th from 5-6:30pm. We will spend the first half hour on team updates, and will be joined by a guest speaker for the last hour. This month, our guest speaker is Tess Morrison, MPH. Tess is a fourth year medical student at Oregon Health and Science University destined for a career in internal medicine. She is currently working for Boost Oregon, a parent-led nonprofit spreading vaccine information, where she is responsible for addressing vaccine hesitancy in rural faith communities in Oregon. Her other research interests include improving patient experiences for sex and gender minorities and people living with controversial illnesses, as well as creating shared decision making models. Tess will be speaking about vaccine hesitancy in rural areas, and touching on the myth of vaccine caused infertility. There will be plenty of time for questions- hope to see you there!
