What a beautifully crafted poem Ed, taking shape like the steaming iron on your forge.
I like what you say about it,  ‘it's a poem woven between the possibilities of our strength and fragility; between ourselves and others.  It's a small glimpse into the intimate as we "wrassle" with the inanimate.’   It helped me understand the nuances as I read it over many times.
I love that 'we are ‘cross-stitched together forever in some poetic tongue.’
