Daily Teachings for Resilience and Courage
 
A free wisdom series starting today through November 8th

As the election closes in this week, it feels more difficult than ever to maintain our balance, equanimity and peace.

Now more than ever, we need time-tested resources that will help us rise above the fray and keep an open heart. Each day for the week of November 1st through November 8th, we will share inspiration and resources from a variety of incredible wisdom keepers, including Ram Dass, Jack Kornfield, Thupten Jinpa, Sharon Salzberg, Daniel Goldman, Roshi Joan Halifax, Joseph Goldstein, and many others.

These beings, these teachings, help us to see the wider view of our world, to put our feelings into context and to remember that we are more resilient and courageous than we know.

Today's wisdom is from Thupten Jinpa, a Tibetan Buddhist scholar, former monk and an academic of religious studies and both Eastern and Western philosophy. He has been the principal English translator to the Dalai Lama since 1985.
