Always good to get different perspectives--thanks for sharing those two videos.
My point is that George Floyd was tortured/murdered by the very people that are to protect all of us. This time was once too many and it ignited a movement. It didn't occur to me to check if he had a rap sheet and it doesn't matter--no one deserves the treatment that he got. He became a symbol. It was time. I was sad that the "movement" found it necessary to make him into a hero, especially for his wife and kids. It must be very confusing for them. Bless them and bless us.

Enough is enough ~ !!!! ~ how much can these people take is what I’m seeing.
Minneapolis has been in constant ongoing conflict/protest w/police brutality.
~~~~ we’ll be needing a real revolutionary approach to take a hold here.
I am never a fan of destructive violence ~ tho’ 400 yrs + of oppression and cruel injustice with no end in sight can fuel a lot of fires for sure.
I say buckle up our seat belts ~ !!! ~~~~~~~ the chaos and desperation is just getting started.
consists of giving all
to what is present.
Thanks for forwarding this clip, Ron. I am almost shaking in my boots. Very much affected by her pain, honesty, rightful indignation, clarity, reference to how when blacks were so succesful in those two places I had never heard of, how these were destroyed by whites. I am learning anew about asking "Why", not "What" and the monopoly game--masterfully illustrated. I felt like I was drowning, gasping for air. Fortunately I'd also just listened to Obama and other young leaders, which left me with some hope.
~~~~~We are just coming out of a week of incredible unrest across the country ~~ I just heard that the rioting and looting is slowing down but that does not mean there are as yet any solutions to unrest or changes in the mindset of racism~! All of this is happening in midst of the Pandemic that has spread around the World ~~~ and if this is not enough there is political unrest as well~.
~ This clip below is exceptionally powerful and to the point ~~~ I know that all of this has sent currents of unrest throughout the World with thousands of protesters in cities filling streets~. There are very good reasons and this woman tells it like it is from a very deep emotional state~~~~This is a deep issue in my cellular tissue as well ~~~ I marched for civil rights in the 60’s in support of Martin Luther King like many others ~~ I did civil rights work in the South and narrowly escaped with my life in Macon County, NC when the vigilante committee came to teach us a lesson…
~ I’m wondering how everyone is doing ~~ are you effected~? What are you feeling~?
This woman cuts to the core of systemic racism.
