Dear friend of The Krenov Foundation,

I've included here your copy of the Fall 2016 Krenov Foundation newsletter. As you know, we are a small non-profit working to put our few resources directly into our mission. This means that much of our funds go directly to woodworkers in the form of student scholarships and awards. As a matter of fact, this newsletter features the 2016 scholarships and awards, including our most recent, TKF Professional Development Award. Each category has its own PDF for you to link to. So, you will see four attachments to this email.

Before you get on with reading the newsletter, however, let me take this moment to offer up a huge thank you to Australian Wood Review Magazine (woodreview.com.au), Classic Hand Tools (classichandtools.com), Highland Woodworking (highlandwoodworking.com), Lee Valley Tools (leevalley.com), Lie-Nielsen Toolworks (lie-nielsen.com), Popular Woodworking (popularwoodworking.com), Tools for Working Wood (toolsforworkingwood.com), and Woodcraft Supply (woodcraft.com) who helped The Krenov Foundation get the word out about our Professional Development Award so that we could reach as many potential applicants as possible. Without the various toolmakers, vendors and magazines writing about the scholarship and linking to the application in newsletters and blogs, we would not have reached as many woodworkers as we did. The Krenov Foundation is more than grateful!
