Thx Rue. We are familiar with this one…ugh. I have been working on comments for several days, and I will send along. Hoping to go out and see the exact area in question. DFW did a good job commenting so far!

About three miles west of Duncan’s Mills in the Sheephouse Creek watershed, a small but important watershed about 2,100 acres. The watershed is privately owned by a handful of individuals, all of whom have logged, are logging or plan to log except for our family. We are the smallest landowner along Sheephouse Creek. The headwaters of Sheephouse are in the Jenner Headlands. The creek is part of the RR Coho Broodstock Recovery program. The most active individual cutting timber is Berry who has had numerous THPs and exemption permits.. He has just submitted this NTMP. It involves 1100 acres or about 50% of the watershed. Another landowner I am aware of will be developing a NTMP of 360 acres. In the near future, if passed by Cal Fire, these two plans will involve 70% of the watershed. I could tell you so much more but these are the basics. I hope you will have some time to look at it and respond to Cal Fire with any concerns.
