[SCE] REMINDER: LCP Planning Commission Hearing Monday July 26, 2021 at 1:00PM

Hello there,
I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer weekend.  

Tomorrow is the County of Sonoma’s Planning Commission hearing on the Local Coastal Plan update.  I hope you will either be able to”attend” (virtually) or send a comment to the Commission.

After lo these many years we’ve been provided with a revised revision of the Draft Local Coastal Plan and it is shorter than the previous version - but still substantive.  If you have not had time to review it and/or have had difficulty comparing the iteration so many spent so long commenting on - please say so.  At least one Commissioner is contemplating asking for more than one hearing - with an extended comment period. I think we could support that - and if you are willing to do so - it would help with the request for an extension of time.

Likewise, if you have specific comments about the Draft LCP - you will likely have three minutes (certainly no more) so prepare to speak in bullet points.

We have all spent 100s of hours over many years on this draft, recognizing how long it will affect our fragile coast - so if you are at all able, please “attend”, enter a comment in the “chat”/Q&A, and/or send an email.  It’s time to be heard.
