Do you want to knowwhat is happening with the new Mill Bend purchase?  

Come hear fromRedwood Coast Land Conservancy (RCLC) speakers on Tuesday, November 5 at theGualala Community Center. The Mill Bend Community Forum runs from 5:30pmto 7. Free and open to the public. 

Kathleen Chasey,RCLC Mill Bend Project Director, will talk about current and future planning onthis multi-year project.  Trailsfor hiking and fishing, a picnic area and responsible public access thatprotects habitat will be discussed.  AMill Bend Technical Advisory Committee is being formed. 

Tina Batt, RCLCDirector of Fundraising, will speak about the grants applied for and the needfor additional community fundraising to protect and maintain the property.  Currently, the Mill Bendproperties are owned by a conservation buyer, The Allemall Foundation.  Redwood Coast Land Conservancy (RCLC)has a two-year window to raise the funds to purchase it. 

RCLC PresidentLaurie Mueller will give an overview of all the RCLC projects under protectedstatus now.  She will alsoshow new projects underway and describe the vision for this local community landtrust.
