On April 28, the League of Women Voters of Sonoma County and the American Association of University Women sponsored a forum on Sonoma County Measure A, the five-year, quarter percent sales tax for general governmental purposes such as public safety, local roads and pothole repair, senior student and veterans transit and other essential services. Supervisor Rabbitt spoke in support of this measure and Dan Drummond of the Sonoma County Taxpayers’ Association spoke against this June ballot measure. The forum can be viewed on the Internet at
