Aside from having no Petition to look at or take action on:

There are numerous issues facing the Sacramento Salmon production.

Yes - the pumps kill numerous small fish ( as well as delta smelt and
other fish)

There are other threats to hatchery induced salmon smolt - i.e hungary
non-native bass just waiting to eat small salmon. (I think CDFW may be
trucking around the waiting bass - not sure).

Having to rely on hatchery fish is a problem in itself.

Then there are the illegal diverters in the Delta - gameing a system that
does not measure or track water use (thus pissing off competing Ag
interests)

Finally, the Governor's tunnel plan would also be a salmon killing threat.

Where Ag uses 80% of the water and supports only 2% of the State economy -
where is the justification of not forcing more economies (and monitoring
use) in on Ag??

We should be jumping all over this. Others are finally starting to get it.
Just not us - or - the fisherpeople.

Come on !!!!
