[SCE] Petition to stop the 2015 Bolinas Salmon season closure

Hi there,
This came in from our local fishing community and our friend Chris (Bodega fisherman).  Since I am very fond of fresh locally caught fish, I'm sending this along.  (In addition to the issues raised in the letter, our local fish is far better than the fish caught and sent to China for filleting and then sent back to us)

Please consider circulating it for others to consider.

Attached is the petition being circulated by the SF small-boat fishermen. The numbers of juvenile Chinook killed by the Delta export pumps are not included (maybe no one even knows how many are killed annually?), but that is the primary driver in the population decline of the Sacramento River Chinook Winter Run.

I say let us catch (and eat) these beautiful wild King salmon, so that we can appreciate them and maintain our commitment to protecting the habitat they rely on!
