[Rotary] Cleanup Kudos

[biseball]

Dr John et al:

“Many hands make light work”. Saturday was a breeze. As you know, Saturday was also Beach Cleanup Day and Ray Alarcón pitched in to help there. Later on Saturday, I talked to Supervisor Ted Williams, he participated in the Hare Creek Beach Cleanup Group. They collected 189 pounds of trash! Saturday morning Ted drove by and saw our Rotary Group hard at work on Highway One and complemented us on our industry and admired our flashy Rotary vests. He suggested that next Beach Cleanup Day, we join that effort as a Rotary Team, he says the endeavor will be great exposure for The Mendocino Club. As a side note, Ted will be reading a Proclamation at Rotary Park on October 10, 2026 in honor of the District 5130 Torch Relay! Be there!!!

Best,
Toby
