[Rotary] Subject: Supporting our Membership Drive

Folks,
Yesterday in our club meeting several persons spoke in favor of creating a corporate membership category, creating a friends of Rotary group, producing a new brochure and updating our social media including the website. We have been asked by our Membership Chair, Toby Wade, to come up with lists of persons who could be candidates to join our club and to invite prospective members to meetings, which he did yesterday. LaDonna and Rick spoke about the corporate membership policy of their club in Hawaii, and I have spoken with Rennee McKenna, our District 5130 Chair, who supports the idea. I have a file of information from MyRotary which presents the concept of corporate membership and how it can be promoted and incorporated in club activities. If you would like, I can send you a copy of these. We need to convert generalities to specifics and act upon them.
I submit the attached proposal to be considered at our next Board meeting. If the budget is too high, let us trim it, but lets by all means act to get this done.
