 Have folks seen that Ft Bragg Rotary in conjunction with Harvest Market is doing a food drive next weekend?They will be picking up from homes Simpson Ln and North.
I have offered up my office as a drop off point for those of us south of that.I will then coordinate with them to get it to the Food Bank.
LaDonna- Jennifer Bosma will be sending me the flyer/pres release. Hopefully we can send it out via our contacts, make sure it posts on our FB page and maybe get Leona to send it out on the list serve.
I think this is a great opportunity for us to collaborate with FB Rotary on a critical issue.
Let's show the community how Rotary rocks!
p.s.We could encourage those attending next week's talk to bring food.Maybe even ask the speaker if her company would like to make a monetary donation.I can get details on which organization  (The Food Bank or Mendo Food Network) folks should make a check payable to if that is what they want to do. My understanding is that besides Harvest Market others have stepped up to match funds donated (possibly to the tune of $45k!).
