Hello Mendocino Rotarians, ✨

This Thursday we will be holding a special meeting of the Mendocino Rotary.
The structure will be a "Town Meeting" so we will not be following the
regular Rotary agenda. Our guest will be newly elected District 4
Supervisor Bernie Norvell. He will speak on the homeless, addiction, and
mental health issues in our County and new approaches to addressing them.
This is a perfect time to invite friends and community members and to get
the word out! The flyer is attached.

During our meeting we will be giving guests the opportunity to contribute
to our Club's disaster relief efforts. Both for victims of the L.A.
Wildfires as well as the hurricane damage in Vanuatu. Guests are given the
opportunity but are not required to donate.

We need to PLEASE have "All Hands On Deck" for this event. We have no idea
how many to expect at this point so it can be as few as a couple dozen
people or a full house similar to our last Town Hall with Ted Williams. We
will be setting up the same way we did when Ted spoke and need volunteers
that can arrive at 11am to help set up chairs. We also need greeters, a
sign-in table, donation table, etc. Please reach out if you are available
to help.

In February we will go back to our regular meeting schedule which means
that we will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month (ex-
February 13th and February 27th).

THANK YOU Mendocino Rotarians! We are off to a great start in 2025! I would
like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Cathy Karabensh for graciously opening her
beautiful home and hosting a wonderful Rotarian Mixer last Thursday
evening. It is so much FUN to get together and spend time like this.
February's Mixer will be on Thursday the 20th... More details to follow. 🎉
