[Rotary] ✨ Rotary Meeting - Thursday, December 19th @ 12 Noon

Hi Guys
I am puzzled- I was in the Kitchen at Preston Hall from 11:00 until the meeting started at 12:00. We had a buffet set up and Gary brought Egg Nog. We ended up with 11 people.
I was looking forward to seeing you guys again because I had a couple of Ideas regarding the “Fun Raising Committee” that I wanted to get your buy in on.

Could we get together for lunch or an adult beverage before New Year’s? My treat. We are going to Hawaii for about 3 weeks on January 6th but I would love to see you before I leave.

Also we need to plan Charter night which happens at the end of January and we clearly need your connections to honor our past rotarians and celebrate our current folks. I would hope that we could get Erich, Kathleen and some of our old timers to come visit.

You guys are the best at this stuff-I need your expertise 😍

I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer but Preston Hall does not allow alcohol. We can partake outside the building but Dr. Preston requested that as a condition of founding the Hall decades ago that no libations should be served in Preston. Perhaps Pastor Matt could verify that for us.

Hello Amazing Rotarians!

The regular meeting of the Mendocino Rotary will be held this Thursday, December 19th at 12pm in Preston Hall. As the Holidays are upon us and we are wrapping up the year. A few of our Rotarians have let me know that they will be unable to attend this final meeting of 2024, but I hope that as many of you that are in town plan on attending.

There will not be a guest speaker at our meeting. We have several exciting pieces of Club business and upcoming events to discuss. One of the things is the successful "Share the Warmth" Cold Weather Clothing Drive. Each year the word gets out to our community and the outpouring of participation is incredible and the donations are much appreciated by our friends at the Hospitality Center.

Please see the attached agenda. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
