[Rotary] Subject: Rotary: Minutes of Board Meeting of 4/4/24

Dear All, 
Most of you will have heard the sad news of Jerry's passing. He was a major contributor to our club and the Park, a stalwart who did more for the club than most of us. We will talk about him I think in our meeting tomorrow. Ray is coordinating our communications with Cathy, Jerry's wife, and advises that we should respect her need for privacy until further notice. He will have more information tomorrow. 
Last Thursday's Board meeting was an excellent meeting, resulting in several things decided, others still to be decided to finish the year on a high.
Amongst others, we discussed budget projections that showed we will end the year in the black, perhaps with substantial savings. 
We meet Thursday April 11 at 12:00 in Preston Hall to continue the conversation. Our speakers will be Paul Davis and Matt Pullum who will talk about Hospitality House. We will talk about upcoming events including a Spring Retreat and year-end Awards Banquet.
