[Rotary] On Memorial Day

Dear Mendocino Rotarians, 
Today on Memorial Day we commemorate the lives of those who have sacrificed their lives for our country. 
We raised Rotary Flag this morning and according to custom put it at half mast until noon, when it will go to full mast. 
After raising the flag, I dropped by the Goodwill for a cinnamon roll, and found a poster there entitled "How to Build Community" which I thought was a close match to what our club is doing.
A picture of the flag, flying at half mast, is attached as a picture of the "Community" poster.
Karen and I are remembering our family members and others we know who served in the military, and trust you all are doing the same.  
We will have a Board meeting this Thursday, agenda to be sent shortly.
