Hello Mendocino Rotary,

This is for info only and up to individuals to respond if you wish....

The Mendocino Film Festival is in great need of cashiers for the films.
This is a volunteer position. Cashier Volunteering would entail the
handling of cash ticket sales before a film, and then reconciling the cash
sales and the cash-bank once the film has started.  Shifts are about an
hour long in total.  Cashiers show up 30 minutes before a film, and then
spend roughly 20-30 minutes once the film starts reconciling the money.
Once money is reconciled you then turn it into a venue manager and sign off
on it together.  For this reason, it is best that you do *NOT* work a film
you want to see, as you will miss the beginning of said film. However the
option to pop in and check out the remainder of the film once you have
reconciled the cash is very likely.

Most ticket sales are happening on-line ahead of the actual festival.  So,
a lot of the cash-ticket sales before a film are for last minute viewers,
or those who prefer not to buy online.
