[Rotary] Subject: Rotary Meeting on Thursday

Dear Mendocino Rotarians,
We will meet Thursday May 11 at 12:00 in Preston Hall for two presentations. Rob Buch of MCN will talk about our local internet service, and its relevance for our community, and Carsten Zehm will talk on Ukraine and the experience of he and Suzanne helping and housing refugees. We will take time to hear any urgent announcements from Avenue of Service/Event/Fundraising chairs but will aim as usual to finish up by 1:00.
It will be BYO. Rotarians will be asked to contribute $5.00 as usual to cover the rent and there will be happy dollars, fines etc. Guests will be free.
Please ask any of your friends/spouses/partners/potential Rotarians whom you think might be interested to join us.
I do not have an e-mail address for Dave Gross' wife, so I sent this to his address thinking she may still be using it. 
Merrie, I know how committed you are to helping out in Ukraine, so please join us and hear Carsten's talk. It is graphic and extremely moving.
Matt, this should be a good day to attend a meeting. We hope you find time to join us.

Dean, Carsten will bring a laptop and show his presentation on the television. 
There will be a drawing. The pot is close to $600.  
We had a good Board meeting last week. I will circulate the minutes Wednesday.
