[Rotary] Subject: Setting Up for Next Year

Dear Mendocino Rotarians, 
We made considerable progress last month, as we decided upon our leadership next year and end of year events. As we move toward the end of this Rotary year, on June 30, we should be talking about member responsibilities, what we will do next year, how we will do it and how we will fund it. We will begin that process at our Retreat on June 18, and then gradually move toward setting everything in place by mid-July.
As a beginning, here is a list of our club members, showing who is presently responsible for each major function. Fourteen of our members are actively involved in various functions of the club:

Things we need to talk about at the retreat and during the rest of this month:
What will we do next year in the way of community services, international services, youth services, park events, non-park events?Avenue of service leaders should be thinking about what their avenue of service will do, and what budget it will need.What will be our grant project for next year? Who will head it?How often will we meet?
What will we do in the way of speakers?How will we do the website? zoom?
We are the little engine that could. 
We have 24 members, 2 of whom are honorary, which means 22 regular members, of which 14 are contributing with their actions, and 8 of whom are contributing only financially.

Our leadership is hard pressed to do what it does and it is aging.

Hopefully we can recruit newer, younger members, and get more in the way of contributions to club activities by existing members particularly those not named above.
