[Rotary] Subject: Christmas Celebrations and Notes of Meeting of 12/1/22

Hi all,
Yesterday 10 of us met and we talked about a lot of things, chief among them the preparations for Christmas.
We will decorate the park on Saturday December 10 at 10:00. Everyone please join, bring ornaments or lights.
We will light the tree on the same day, Saturday December 10, at 5:30. Susan will bring eggnog and brandy. 
I called John Cottle and he is messaging Janis Luttrel to see if the choir group could sing Christmas songs for us, possibly on the 10th at 5:30 pm.
We talked about Joe and Ruth Sparks, and ways to memorialize Joe and other members who have passed away, been major contributors to the club, or been past presidents of the club, through benches or a plaque in the park, no decision taken yet. Jerry to follow up.
We requested all members to donate warm weather clothing for the street medicine program, to be collected in our meeting on December 16. We have done this in previous years and it has been much appreciated. Clothing should be for men or women, and include new underwear or socks, and new or clean used pants, shirts, sweaters, jackets, vests, rain gear, hats, boots, etc, all put into black plastic garbage bags. Let's make this a success. Last year we put together suficient bags of clothing to fill the back of a pickup truck. Let's try to equal or beat that this year. Bags may be dropped at my house, or at Engel and Volkers.   

All, please pay your membership dues, not later than our last regular meeting of this year, which will be on December 15. We will remove anyone who has not paid from our membership registry.
Our next meeting, which will be on December 15, will be chaired by the Interact Club of Mendocino High School. Donna, you might ask them if they would like to being warm clothing to donate.
Join us to help out in the Park and light the tree on the 10th, and
