Dear Friends,
You may not realize that we have an important election coming up. If you
receive an Absentee Ballot, it will be arriving in early May.
A *crucial race *on this ballot will be for the Mendocino County
Superintendent of Schools.
We would like to invite you to meet a very impressive candidate who is
running for this office, her name is *Nicole Glentzer.* We're having a
"Meet and Greet" for her and hope you'll be able to attend:
When: Tuesday, May 3, 2022, 4:40pm - 6:00pm
Where: Our home, 11360 Lori Lan, Mendocino
Here are some impressive facts about Nicole:
• She has been an *educator for 27 years*, starting out as a
bilingual aide.
• She is *fully bilingual* in Spanish.
• She is currently the *Assistant Superintendent of Ukiah Unified
School District,* head of Human Resources.
• She was the* Superintendent of Potter Valley schools,* so she
will be responsive to the needs of our small rural districts on the coast.
• Nicole is *endorsed by Becky Walker*, Superintendent of Fort
Bragg Unified School District.
• She is also *endorsed by Ted Williams*, 5th District Supervisor.
• Over *100 educators throughout the county have endorsed Nicole.*
"Ms. Glentzer is a *remarkable leader and human being*! She inspires us
daily with her ability to confront difficult situations with a kind heart
but a clear focus on what is best for students." said Ukiah Unified
Superintendent, *Deb Kubin*.
As retired school administrators, education continues to be important to
us. We hope you will come and meet Nicole. She would be an exceptional
educational leader for Mendocino County.
Thank you.
Leah & Mike Garratt
