Dear Suzanne,
I am not sure if this was circulated earlier, as it should have been, and circulate it now in the hope that we can continue to help out in Ukraine.
We have offered our Park to another group, which is planning an event on May 1 to raise funds to Ukraine, and it looks like it will be a major event for out little town. I will try to get more information on it and perhaps we could announce what you are doing or better you could zoom in and we could do it on the zoom.

As already briefly announced in the meeting, I would like to introduce you to the initiative of our Rotary Club of Starnberg / Germany.

Due to his long-standing connection to a Ukrainian interpreter and her network, our fellow Dr. Stephan Girthofer was asked to organize prescription drugs. Of course, Stephan is very happy to comply and at the same time turns to all members of the Rotary Club Starnberg with a request for a donation to the account of the social fund so that he can get as much as possible.

Painkillers, antibiotics, hemostatic drugs, insulin and bandages are currently primarily needed. What exactly Stephan can organize or buy also depends on how much money is available. The purchase is currently made with a 15% discount (German prices, much lower than in the U.S.). 

The transport of the bandages takes place via Munich volunteers

The prescription drugs will be transported by three Rotarians: Stephan, our president Oliver Schroeder and Carsten, and handed over to Ukrainian doctors at the border.
