My Dear Friends,

It has been quite a while since I had to do a press release on Covid at
Sherwood Oaks.  Thankfully this time, despite the disruption of the lives
of our residents and our very hardworking staff, the outlook is much more
hopeful than before:

Dr John Cottle, Medical Director at Sherwood Oaks Health Center reports
that 15 residents with Covid-19 are currently in an isolation ward at the
facility.  Fortunately with staff encouragement, a vaccine acceptance rate
of 88% was achieved, so only 4 of the 15 have any significant symptoms, and
so far none are severe.  As promised, the vaccine has greatly reduced the
severity of breakthrough infections.
