Totally agree , John. According to Rotarian Gary Hopper,  MFD  fire chief Dave LaToof  requested we not have an event this July 4th. 

I got this feedback as well from dozens and dozens of people regarding any kind of July 4th events in the town of Mendocino. The impact on public safety and law enforcement suggests deferral would be wise.
