[Rotary] Subject: Rotary: Notes of Meeting of 7/1/21

Hi all,
Last week we had our first hybrid meeting under our new President, Toby Wade, in the Mendocino Cafe. We had a record turnout of 15 Rotarians at the lunch, and 4 more on the zoom. We had a good time getting to know each other, again, better, and conducted some important business. Persons physically present included Ray, John C, Harold, Gary, Pam, Jerry, Susan, Sean, Matt, Pete, Mike, Brandt, Jeff, Toby and Dean. Roccie, Scott, John Porter and Suzanne zoomed in. 
Congratulations to our new Prez for getting the hybrid meeting going better. 
Pam Hudson volunteered to be Programs Chair. 
We need a Secretary. 
Pete and Gary will lead the golf tournament, planned for early October. We need to tie down the date with LRGC.
Ray will coordinate the dine out raffle. We will aim to increase the number of tickets and offer multiple (say 3) prizes. As we did last year we will pay the restaurants for a gift certificate, and suggest without insisting the restaurant may wish to donate another certificate. 
John C is putting together a proposal for benches and trash bins for the community center and park. Jeff will help prepare a district grant request. 
Next week we will talk about the scoreboard for the grammar school (this needs a sponsor) and our international assistance (Jeff and the Working Group).
We will have a Board meeting on July 22. 
We collected $403 in lunch money, fines and happy dollars. 
It appears that several members forgot to pay. If that was you, please make up for it next time we meet.
