[Rotary] One less friend

John loved Rotary and our community. He was a master at and delighted in raising money for club projects. Most of all, he was my friend. I will miss him and deeply regret his passing. Rest in Peace my friend.

I can only echo Annie's eloquent tribute to John Porter. He was a mentor to me, a friend and a person who was true to his beliefs, his friends and our club. We will miss you, John.

I have been sitting with my sadness and gratitude that I was lucky enough to know John all these years. His tenacious commitment to Rotary has been an inspiration as his has his love of his wife Janis, his church, his community, and all of us.
