[Rotary] Subject: Mendocino Rotary: Board Meeting of Thursday April 29

Hi all, 
On Thursday April 29 we will have a Board meeting, at 12:30, at Dean Watson's House at 31850 Wildwood Way, Fort Bragg. We hope that all club members will attend, whether or not he or she is on the Board. We will serve pizza, wine and beer, and enjoy each other's company while observing covid 19 safety rules as we have done earlier at Susan Keller's house. 
The meeting will
1) Celebrate Joe Sparks' contributions to Rotary and our club, for which reson we are inviting Ruth, John Innes, who knows himn well, and Mindy Slaughter, who understand was the Interact Club President when it was formed, with Joe's mentorship. If you have a story to tell about Joe, please come prepared to tell it. 
2) Confirm and schedule the proposed induction of Scott Roat and Roccie Hill to the club and
3) Provide a chance for us to talk about what we would like to come as we emerge from the pandemic and as Toby and others take their places in the club leadership. For purpose of this discussion we ask that we all come prepared to describe the 3 things he/she would like the club to accomplish next hear--whether it is in terms of membership, procedures, training, social events, fund raising or services.
We attempt to make this a hybrid meeting with in-person attendance as well as zoom attendance.

 Driving instructions for Dean's house are attached. Most of us should park on the road, to allow space in the driveway for persons who cannot walk from the road.  
Dean has sufficient chairs and tables. Toby and I will begin setting up, with Dean's help, at about 11:30. I will bring the sound equipment and a computer. Harold is bringing the pizza.
