Hey Folks ...
1.....Thanks for being Rotarians ......here’s a short round up of our January , 2020 , Mendocino Rotary History . Please Feel good about your service to Rotary , we are doing good things in the world .

2....Beloved Roger passes away , Art Williams , 1970’s  rotary founder ,passed away ,
Bart Grimes ,Mendocino Rotarian , Passed away . Sort of a transition month , for us .

3....Park news ....We qualified for the 50,000 Chatter Bishoff Grant and the paper work is signed and in the paper mill .....Jeff Stubbs is working hard on the Engineering for the grading plan for the park  ...........the new  Rotary Park signs should be installed , in the park , in two weeks ............Yahoo !

4........Our , new member Jesse , Is a pleasure to have in the club ........Peter Imlay is our new , prospective member .

5......We had 6 meetings this month , two board meetings and 4 regular meetings .
Well done everyone !

6.....We have a international Rotary trip coming up in May ......is anyone interested in Traveling to the South Pacific ? Jeff Stubbs has worked on this project tirelessly for 2 years.........His file on the project is 5 inches thick ........... Travel dates are May 2 nd to May 23rd ....flying Fiji Airlines ........ SF to Nadi , Fiji 🇫🇯, Savusavu  for our annual trash collection program and  then , a week later .......connecting  to Vanuatu Airline to travel to Port Vila Vanuatu ........working with Rotary International  , on  our rotary  global grant project  , which is  bathroom project at a very poor school called “BlackSands , School of Hope “...truly a third world project ....just imagine , a school with out a bathroom ......

7......Alida Morzenti , who has been away on sick leave and is now feeling better and on the mend .....has said she ,  “might come back “ to see the Mendocino trash collection program off to a good start .

8....Harrold Hauck gets the Gold Star ⭐️ this month for his diligence in stewarding the Chatter Bishoff Rotary Park improvement project .

9.......you all deserve a Thursday off ........so this Thursday ......just sleep in , relax and rest up ......there is no meeting scheduled .
