[Rotary] Rotary Meeting summery 1/16/20

Hello All ,
We had a fantastic and a sad meeting today .
Fantastic because we communicated amongst ourselves , and heard some very interesting news . Harrold did a who am I , that was very fun to hear.

Jesse was pined today and it’s our new member.

Peter Imlay was in attendance and is a possible new member .

Sad...Guenter spoke from the heart ❤️ , about his , leaving Mendocino Rotary and Mendocino to move to Santa Rosa ......truly  it was sad news  , we will miss him and his intellect and smile .

 Three Rotarian are leaving ....Roger ,Guenter and Joe Sparks .

Donna Schuler and Susan Keller  were in attendance , Donna gave Guenter a beautiful hug and thanked him for being in Rotary .

Gary , had a excellent report about the Paul Harris awards and where we all stand towards our next pin . 

 Today , We filled out cards for Bart Grimes wife Jerry and Roger’s wife Fran , expressing our condolences.

Today’s Rotary Park news is .....soon we will be in possession of our 50,000.00 grant .

Jeff Stubbs , has done lots of engineering work in the last few weeks , towards the grading plan and drainage for the Park . Thank you Jeff .

Alida is wondering if there is support to work on , Dog problems in Mendocino concerning safety issues she has talked about with the sheriffs and being attacked by Bit bulls ........... and  on the trash problem in Mendocino ,  concerning  arranging for more frequent trash pick up from  , The public , side of the road , trash cans  , through our town , that are often over flowing with trash on busy week ends of tourist season .

Well........those are a few of the highlights of todays Rotary Meeting ......
