[Rotary] Subject: Warm Clothing for the Street People

Yesterday we delivered about a dozen bags and boxes of warm clothing to Linda Jo Stern of Coastal Street Medicine in Fort Bragg. Leona, Toby, Dean, Gary, Harold, Annie, Jeff, Karen and Susan (apologies if I missed anyone) contributed jackets, sweaters, pants, wool socks, boots, shoes, and blankets to be given to street people and it looks as if they will arrive in time for Christmas. 
There was so much that we may have exceeded the program's needs. If there is anything left over Linda will see that it gets to the Thrift Shop run by MCCF.
Lessons for the future: need for more ponchos and rain gear, which we might have to purchase, but guys we set in motion a good thing yesterday.
