Dear fellow District Rotarians,

Please let us know how many kids you are going to sponsor for Cool Kids
Camp this year.

Last year, we were able to send only 20 kids to camp but this year
Cloverleaf Ranch, whose wild fire recovery efforts have been just short of
miraculous, are offering us places for 35 campers.

In prior years District 5130 has provided as many as 40 scholarships for
these poor kids, some of whom are homeless (even more this year, after the
fires), some of whom suffer terrible abuse and others who just don't have
that loving home environment which all kids ought to be able to enjoy.

Please remember them in your plans.  They so deserve our help.  For some,
it has been a truly life-altering experience - a chance to just be a kid
for a week - opening up options for them they never thought possible.

I have attached a copy of the Camp Scholarship Funding file, with the
details you will need - to know where to send your checks.  Cloverleaf are
again offering us a wonderful deal at less than half the normal camper
price.  They only do this because they love working with Rotary and really
believe in doing their best to help these poor, disadvantaged kids like we
do.

It's the perfect partnership.

Thank you so much for your past support and hopefully your funding of 2 or
3 kids at camp this year.  Even funding one kid at $500 makes a superb
difference for that one individual.
