[Rotary] Mendocino Rotary gives check to Mendocino Community Foundation for Fire Relief Fund

Hi Chris,
 Thanks for running this!
Mendocino Rotary club President Donna Schuler presented a check for $840
for the Mendocino Community Foundation Fire Relief Fund to Megan Barber
Allende, CEO of the Foundation. The Mendocino Rotary club annually supports
disaster relief, such as Shelter Boxes, and international rebuilding
efforts where needed from their annual budget. Additionally, individual
members of the club gave to the Community Foundation Fire relief fund, and
the LARCA fire fund, establishes after the Lake County fires, and serving
both the 2015 wildfire fire victims and the 2017. Rotarians have been
planting trees after the fires, and will continue to lend a helping hand.

Chris, here is more info  about LARCA from an email in October I sent to
our Rotary district:
Dear Barb and Bob,
I have been sending our fire relief find information to our regional news
outlets and I see our Fire Relief Fund information is lacking for this ABC
news story. I am not sure how the coordination of the news outlets- radio,
tv, newspapers, websites and social media have been handled by our
districts efforts. Is there a master list or spreadsheet circulating so we
can see the gaps or holes of missing media? That would be helpful.
