[Rotary] Golf Tournament

Hi everyone,

This is the Golf Tournament email. Our date is August 18th. We need to have
clearly defined the who-what-where-when and how, so that we have a
successful and fun event like last years. Our golf tournament was our only
fundraiser last year, and crucial to completing our clubs good work. Last
minute planning is stressful, creates bad feelings, and makes planning
summer vacation, work, and family plans difficult. Please put those Golf
Tournament action caps on now!
Jody and I are co-chairs.

   - Team Registration flyers need to be at the Little River Inn Course
   ASAP. There are golf tournaments happening this month, and that is the best
   way to get teams. The LR Inn will put our flyer on their webpage, or a link
   to our webpages with our flyer. Last years flyer is attached and needs
   edits for this year. I don't have the program to do this. Who will do this
   ASAP, send back to all with the revised PDF, AND bring to this weeks
   meeting?
   - Hole Sponsors- we need those, and the letter attached is useful for
   that or the prizes. It also needs minor editing ASAP.
   - Prizes- I know Gary has a BBQ donation, we have an Inn stay and wine
   tasting in Healdsburg wine country that Jerry procured. Jeff brought back a
   unique carving from Vanuatu- you get the idea- keep the prizes coming, and
   let me or Jody know what it is.
   - Team registrations- we'll sell out at 15 teams of four players. We
   have at least two teams so far.
   - Food and beverage plan
   - Volunteer shifts and jobs- why not bring a friend or potential
   Rotarian? We did this last year and had so much fun. Jody has the master
   spreadsheet of what the jobs are and the time slots from previous years.
   We'll have it at this weeks meeting for you to sign up.
