[Rotary] Rotary Park, 4th of July

Thanks to all who made the day a success.  We handed out 200 flags,
painted over 50 smiling faces and watched the bright eyes of almost 100
kids and parents laugh at the puppets on parade.  The day was a excellent
return on Rotary's investment in the park.

A special thanks is due to all who made the park look so beautiful on this
day of celebrating our country's founding.

I will continue to make presentations to the Board of Supervisors so we
can make the park even more inviting to our community and its visitors. 
Next visit is on Tuesday July 10th.  Let me know if you want to join me. 
I plan on wearing my Uncle Sam costume to the meeting and emphasize how
Rotary and Rotary Park are supporting our community and that their
perverse Permit Fees are counter productive.
