[Rotary] Invitation: Rotary Lunch Meeting @ Every 3 weeks from 11:45am to 1pm on Thursday (PST) (rotary at lists.mcn.org)

You have been invited to the following event.

Title: Rotary Lunch Meeting
Chad Johnson and Sage Statham of MCN will present a program on internet  
security, and the recent Equifax security breach this Thursday at our Hill  
House "Clubhouse".

When members arrive at 11:45, get their food and drink, have a few minutes  
for socializing, the bell rings at 12:05, and our meeting runs on schedule.  
But do come if you are running late- just don't be surprised if the bell  
rings when you are loading your plate! After some club business and  
committee announcements, speakers are introduced and have the floor until  
12:55. We have a raffle, the bell rings to close the meeting. Club service  
people return our meeting materials to the closet.

RI FOUNDATION: We have several members who are very close to their Paul  
Harris awards, and one who recently received plus one status. Our club will  
match your donation to reach your goal. Gary is the man to speak with. It  
looks promising to be pinning several club members soon!

3/8 Charles Bush, CEO of Senior Center in Fort Bragg

3/15 Elizabeth Di Marchis- Senior Programs in Fort Bragg. Keeping  
engagement up and healthy seniors is a top priority.

4/5 Amanda Reiman, PHd MSW of Flo Kana on Cannabis, local and state impacts  
and opportunity. https://www.flowkana.com/home .  Amanda is brilliant, and  
worked diligently on the proposition that ultimately passed. Is Director of  
Community Relations at FloKana in Redwood Valley.


4/12 Club Assembly. Evening meeting--drinks and appetizer format. Starts at  
5:30 and ends at 6:30. Our last evening meeting ran longer due to members  
persistently socializing near the bar (imagine that!), and because we had  
Geologist Tom Cochrane as a speaker. With out a speaker, we can have  
engaging, briefer and effective meetings, which some club members are  
strongly in favor of.

4/19 Potluck and BBQ in Rotary Park in Mendocino, weather permitting. We  
COULD invite community to this, and make it more of an event, wouldn't that  
be fun? It will be close to Earth day, and we have students Growing and  
Greening native plants at Mendocino High. WE should invite them!

Our Board meetings are on the fourth Thursday of each month. With only  
three meetings each month, and aspirations for continuing the excellent  
work our club has a history of doing, you can see why your regular  
attendance, although not mandatory is essential.
