[Rotary] Golf Tournament

Good morning all,

Currently we have approximately $1,500 in hole sponsorships and quite a few prizes.  Everybody needs to make an effort to get hole sponsors and at this point it would be better to encourage cash than prizes since we have plenty of prizes.  John Porter raised over $3,000 in hole sponsors last year, but due to his health the club will most likely not be getting money from those who donated last year.  It will be up to the club to find replacement funds for those sponsors.

TEAMS:  So far I have 6 committed teams and 4 maybe teams.  It would be fantastic if Rotary members could find a few more teams.  If there are not enough teams, there will not be a tournament.

Since Rotary did not do a Casino Night this year, this will be Rotary's only large fundraiser and we will need full participation.  I will be working on a sign-up sheet for the day of the event and have it at next week's meeting.  It will be important for each Rotarian to attend next week's meeting to discuss the Golf Tournament.
