Dear Gary,

*We need your vote, please!*

District 5130 has the opportunity to hold a joint district conference in
May of 2019 with our fellow Rotarians in Districts 5150 and 5160. These
three districts combined include more than 5,000 Rotarians and cover a
large geographical area in Northern California. We believe that a joint
district conference provides a great opportunity to share fellowship and
have fun with more Rotarians, the opportunity to secure even better
speakers and programs, and the opportunity to see what other clubs are
doing in their local areas.

Per Rotary International Policy, in order to conduct a joint conference the
districts involved must secure the approval of two-thirds of the clubs
involved. So we’d like to have your club vote approval response by June 15,
2017 so that the venue can be secured and the planning can begin!

Please present this information at your next club meeting and have your
members vote - we think this will be a great way to have our District
Conference in May of 2019!
