[Rotary] Fwd: D5130Training Assembly and Rotary Youth Exchange

Dear Rotarians,
Can one or more of you please attend the sessions on Youth Exchange at our
District Assembly on April 1? I will be busy with President elect sessions,
and cannot attend those sessions. I am a fully vetted Youth Exchange
officer as of October last year, and we need two more officers for the
Youth Exchange program to work.
(For those of you unfamiliar with the language, YOUTH EXCHANGE is the study
abroad program for high school students.) I might add that it was not
difficult to become vetted, but it is essential for the YE program. We have
two highly qualified students from Mendocino High who applied to Fort Bragg
Rotary last fall to be exchange students, but naturally the Fort Bragg
student who was also highly qualified, was chosen. We don't have to commit
to sending a student this year, but we do need to have Youth Exchange
offers in place, and agreements in place with the District.

Hello D5130 Club Presidents, Secretaries, and YE officers and D5130 PE's.

We are having 4 youth exchange training sessions at our upcoming District
Training Assembly on April 1.  I've attached the syllabus for each of the
sessions to help schedule your time at the training.

For those currently not in youth exchange but would like to know more,
Session 1 would be a great introduction.

For those with a youth exchange program, it is required that you have a
representative at the sessions 2-4.
