[Rotary] Rotary programs

Dear Mendo Rotarians,

 

I have volunteered to be the program chair for the upcoming year.

Can everyone that has already signed up for a program please resend the
dates and speaker that they have set up so I can get a new list going?

And if you haven’t signed up yet please think about who you know that can
give an interesting talk. 

When looking for speaker/topic consider this; Is it informative, persuasive
and/or entertaining? Is it a category that would be interesting to not only
club members but also guests? 

Consider these categories when looking for a speaker/topic; Art, Science,
Community, Business, Tech and Entertainment.  

P.s. Those ideas were what Donna brought back from PETS (I am not that
creative!). 

 

Keep in mind we have about 35 meeting a year so we hope every member will
step up and get a speaker.

If you have a speaker in mind, please contact me & I will let you know what
dates are available. 

 

Also I would like to bring back the tradition of trivia questions presented
by the member who brings the speaker.

I think we should do just ten questions for time sake. Besides the levity
that those create it will add $20 per week to our Happy Dollar fund.

And just to put pressure on the speaker sponsor if you come without
questions you will be expected to put the $20 in the bucket not the members.
